  • The 2012 spring 9Health Fairs are just around the corner! Although the traditional "9Days" run from April 21 - 29, we have fairs running as early as March and as late as mid-May. Information about locations, dates, screenings and online registration will be available in February.
  • According to the 2011 Colorado Health Access Survey, 85% of uninsured Coloradans said they don't have health insurance because it costs too much. You should be able to get the care you need to stay healthy and see a doctor when needed without unpredictable costs and other barriers. Working together, we can move Colorado closer to that common-sense goal. Share your thoughts and ideas with us on Facebook.

“My thyroid level was really high and 9Health Fair tried, but couldn’t reach me by phone. So, through their follow up process, 9Health Fair expedited my results to my house and included a cover letter saying that I had to seek immediate medical attention. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated their persistence in tracking me down.”

“My wife and I have been going to [the] 9Health Fair for many years in several different towns in Colorado, so it plays a big part in our lives. In April of 2003, we went again to have our annual blood screening but this time mine came back a little different. My PSA number came in a little high with a suggestion to make an appointment with my doctor. With further evaluation I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I had no previous symptoms. I was given several options but at my age of 51, surgery was the best for me. As you can see 9Health Fair saved my life. My family and I are so grateful for the services available to all of our communities. 9Health Fair is great and I am looking forward to many more 9fairs.”

Health Screening Partners Overview

Each year, 9Health Fair collaborates with professional healthcare organizations and associations for the development of health screenings conducted at the In the Community health fairs. These groups referred to as our "Health Screening Partners" share the responsibility of bringing the expertise of their specialty and providing professional staff to many Metro Denver and statewide 9Health Fair sites.

9Health Fair partners with organizations that represent the finest in their specialty fields and that share our mission of promoting health awareness and encouraging individuals to assume responsibility for their own health.

Our Health Screening Partners have a state-wide presence, in that their membership reaches all of the community of Colorado. Accordingly, each partner organization reviews, revises or develops the medical protocol appropriate to the skill of their profession or specialty. Many professional organizations perform screenings at various 9Health Fair sites as a means of giving back to their community.
