Is Tax Time the New Season of Giving?

Tax time creates a new season of giving to support 9Health

A new program allows you to use your state income tax return to make a big difference in your community and here’s why 9Health is a perfect fit to make the impact you want in YOUR community!

When you give to 9Health, you make it possible for 9Health Fairs to be held throughout Colorado.  Your donations impact people like Jody who attended a 9Health Fair for the first time and visited the free skin screening. The volunteer health professional advised her to visit her doctor ASAP.  After a biopsy, she discovered that her mole was melanoma. She was grateful she caught it early. Or you help people like Joe who received a phone call within 24 hours of attending a fair with news that he needed to make an appointment right away because of results found in his blood work.  Countless people attend 9Health Fairs to monitor their cholesterol, A1c or thyroid levels each year.  You make that possible.

For the past 40 years, 9Health has been your partner in health and looking forward to the future we are continually bringing evidence-based health education into your home each week through social media channels, health education blogs and more.

9Health is your year-round partner in health. As always, we are grateful for your past support and hope you will consider donating again through this impactful new program. Your tax-refund will go a long way towards serving our mission of helping to provide access to preventive health for all Coloradans.

If you’re due a state income tax refund, this state program gives you the opportunity to use some or all of it to directly support a local nonprofit that matters to you like 9Health.

The new program, promoted through the ReFUND CO awareness initiative, lets you choose where your donation goes. All you have to do is:

  • Decide how much of your state income tax refund to donate (all or a portion of it).
  • Enter 9Health and our registration number 20023002970 in the Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund line on your state tax return or tax software – or give just give this info to your tax preparer when you share your tax documents.
